How the air pollutant nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) is linked to skin ageing: when NO₂ absorbs sunlight it splits, releasing a highly reactive oxygen atom (NO + O). That atom reacts with oxygen in the air to form ozone (O₂ + O → O₃) [9]. Ozone triggers oxidation in skin cells, forming 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (HNE) protein adducts and carbonyl proteins, generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) and activating the transcription factor NF-κB. This in turn starts the synthesis of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and activates matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). The resulting inflammation is associated with faster skin ageing (Chan F-Y, et al., 2020).

Health coach Hsu Te-Chu (Dede) tries the day cream for a brighter-looking complexion
For all ages and genders, every day
We followed people using the Anti-Aging and Soothing Protection Day Cream, aged from 10 to over 70. As the chart shows, their average imaging-estimated skin age was 2.5 years lower after use. These are observational results from users, not a clinical trial, and individual results vary.

Evidence-based research, with a signed product safety assessment
In a non-clinical study by the Skin Health Promotion Research Center (SHPR), 180 participants had similar sociodemographic profiles and environmental exposure. Comparing 47 users with 133 non-users, the difference in results was statistically significant.

Q: What is the texture like?
A: The texture is light and non-greasy, with a soft-matte finish, so skin feels light and comfortable. No make-up remover is needed: your usual cleanser is enough.

Q: What does the day cream do for my skin?
A: It forms a light film that helps keep airborne dirt from settling on the skin, and gives a soft-matte finish that helps pores look less visible and skin look smoother.

Q: How is it different from other day creams?
A: Uncoated titanium dioxide can act as a photocatalyst under UV light. Our Anti-Aging and Soothing Protection Day Cream uses coated titanium dioxide (designed not to act as a photocatalyst), which forms a light film on the skin that helps keep everyday airborne dirt from settling on it.

Q: What research is behind this product?
A: Our team studies how Taiwan's environment affects skin health in local communities. The findings have been recognised in international public health and published in Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) three years in a row (journal impact factor 10.1). Environmental exposure and everyday habits are closely linked to skin health. Join us in choosing carbon-offset skincare, caring for the environment and looking after your skin.
Q: What is a cosmetic Product Information File (PIF)?
A: The PIF (Product Information File) is the technical dossier a cosmetic must have before it is sold. Taiwan's law aligns with EU rules here, to protect consumer safety. For this product, every ingredient has been assessed and the safety assessment signed by a qualified safety assessor, under both Taiwan and EU requirements.

Q: Does how much I use make a difference?
A: After cleansing, use about 2 mg per cm² of skin, roughly four pea-sized dots for the face. Spread evenly over the face and neck, and pat gently until absorbed. Using enough product matters for the best result.
Q: How do the member rewards work?
A: Each purchase comes with a one-year skin health account. You can track your skin health records and collect carbon-reduction points, which earn cash-back rewards.
